Wandering with Meaning
Hi, I’m Nick — a Counsellor with a deep belief in the power of genuine human connection, honest conversation, and non-judgmental support.
I'm also a dad to two young boys, and I understand how complex and exhausting life can get — especially when you're holding things together for others while trying to care for yourself. This personal experience shapes the way I show up in sessions: with empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for your unique story.
Through Nomadic Connection Counselling, I provide compassionate, practical guidance for men, young adults, parents, and carers navigating life’s challenges — from mental health, ADHD and neurodivergence, to grief, addiction, carer fatigue and everything in between.
Why I Do This Work…
My journey into counselling wasn’t a straight line — it was shaped by lived experience, personal growth, years working in mental health and community services, and many other career pursuits before counselling.
I’ve walked through life’s hard seasons, witnessed and felt the impact of mental health struggles on families and individuals, and know how powerful it can be to simply feel heard and understood.
I created Nomadic Connection to be a space where people can explore what’s going on beneath the surface — without pressure, labels, or judgment.
My Counselling Style
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and client-led. I draw from frameworks like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths Based Solution-Focused work, Motivational Interviewing, and Holistic Mind-Body approaches — but I always start by listening and walking alongside you, not ahead of you.
I offer secure telehealth sessions so you can access support from the comfort of your own space, and Walk-&-Talk therapy for clients in Brisbane who feel most at ease moving through nature.

Qualifications & Background
Origin of the Name
Nomadic Connection reflects my belief that healing and growth aren’t fixed destinations — they’re winding journeys that unfold over time, across inner landscapes, shifting seasons, and meaningful human connections. Life can feel uncertain, untethered, or in transition — but even in movement, we can find moments of clarity, strength, meaning, and belonging. This practice was created to walk beside you through all of those moments. Whether you feel grounded or adrift, you’re not alone on the path.
I understand that reaching out for support can be a daunting step. Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, disconnected, or just needing someone to talk to — you’re welcome here. No pressure, no expectations — just space to explore, grow, and reconnect with what matters to you.
If you’d like to start this journey, I invite you to complete the contact and enquiries form for a free 15 minute introductory call and we’ll be in touch in the near future.
